Angela

Angela is a Colombian artist who now lives in Linköping, Sweden. She  graduated from the Textile Design Faculty at the Centro de Diseño Taller Cinco as a professional technician in 1997. She completed further studies in basketry at the Galería de Arte Moderno (1997) and Caitas Colombia (1999), ceramics at Moart (1998) and Boca Raton Art Museum-The Art School (2002 and 2010), painting at the Escuela de Bellas Artes (1999) and Art Center-South Florida (2001), sculpture at Taller de Bellas Artes de Usaquen (1999, Miami Dade College (2014) and Folketsuniversitet (2024), and 46 credits in her Associate of Arts degree at Miami Dade College (2011-2014).

 

She has participated in several group exhibitions: Escuela de Bellas Artes (1999), Power International Gallery (2001), East Little Havana Community Development Corporation (2002), El Solar (2002), Consulate of Colombia Miami (2002), Boca Raton Art Museum (2003), Deauville Resort (2004), Seacoast Suite Hotel (2004), Saint Michelle Hotel (2005), Fisher Island Art Fair (2005), and Miami Dade College (2012, 2013, and 2014), Amano Taller Creativo (2017), Linköpings Boblioteket (Sept.2024 and Feb. 2025), Ekholmens Bibliotek (May 2025).
